Mehlomakulu, an experienced corporate advisor in the financial services sector with a BA and BA Hons from the University of Natal, started her career in advertising, where she worked on various premium SA and international brands.
She held the post of director of corporate affairs for the Wiphold Group and later joined the Sage Group as head of investor relations, where she was involved in the capital raising exercise that refinanced the group. When the Sage Group was sold, she joined Umsobomvu Youth Fund as director of corporate affairs, marketing and communications.
