Valentine's Day launch for Art with Heart

This year's Art with Heart, organised by Platypus Productions, launched last week on Valentine's Day. Now in its second year, the initiative calls all ‘frustrated' artists working in the advertising, marketing, production and media industries to join it in rediscovering their creative talents while assisting to raise funds for worthy charities.

An intimate breakfast was held on 14 February at Suikerbossie Restaurant in Hout Bay and was attended by members of the media, as well as some of the artists who took part in 2007.

As part of the morning, a cheque was handed over from the monies raised at last year's auction to The Heart of Healing.
