Media Groups Synergy for World Radiography Day, Sunday 8 November
Independent Newspapers, in association with the Society of Radiographers of South Africa (Sorsa) and GreenGold Africa Communications, will publish a special feature celebrating and commemorating World Radiography Day, which is observed annually on 8 November when radiographers worldwide pay homage to Professor Wilhelm Conrad Roentgen for his discovery of X-rays in 1895, making him the first recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize for physics in 1901.
The feature will showcase the frontline service of radiographers in the medical healthcare sector and highlight a wealth of services, equipment and products available in South Africa to be published on 11 November 2009.
