Lately we seem to be oscillating between Sunday newspapers
Sunday Times and
City Press being the news, not just reporting on the news. So this week, we're back to good ol'
Sunday Times and a
controversial story alleging that there's something not kosher about a communications tender awarded to TBWA\Hunt\Lascaris by the DA-run provincial government of the Western Cape. Except there seems to be something not quite kosher about the facts of the story itself. *facepalm*
Meanwhile, Avusa's public editor Joe Latakgomo
has commented on the
Ferial Haffajee/Eric Miyeni saga (Haffajee, in the meantime, has decided not to sue Miyeni and will instead
lay a complaint with the Human Rights Commission or public protector).
We're also through the coldest part of winter (although, yes, it has been
snowing in Johannesburg today!), but Biz Takeouts remains hot! The latest
Biz Takeouts podcast from the Bizcommunity.com/Chai FM Marketing & Media
radio show takes a look at creating trends and leadership in advertising, from Apple to the world-acclaimed Zimbabwean campaign.
Here's to a more productive week
