UNSUBSCRIBE | | | At last, some positive news! There were two pieces of good news on Friday, 14 January 2011, the first being that communications minister Roy Padayachie confirmed that South Africa will be adopting DVB-T2 as its standard for digital terrestrial television - sense has finally prevailed! - and the second, according to the Mail & Guardian Online, being that the ANC has "toned down its demands for a media appeals tribunal to give the media time 'to reform' themselves".
In the meantime, I hope you are enjoying this year's batch of Trends Reports as much as I am - aren't they fascinating? You've only yourself to blame if you don't take heed of all these gems of knowledge.
I would like to take the opportunity to thank all the contributors and my colleagues who have made this series of feature articles possible - you all rock.
To the good news continuing!
