Stationery drive benefits school kids
Earlier this week, 94.7 Highveld Stereo started distributing the almost R2 million's worth of stationery it recently collected together with Outsurance for underprivileged school children. Operation Ground Cover 2 was facilitated by 94.7's Ground Patrol team, the station's direct marketing arm. Outsurance invited 94.7 listeners to call for a no-obligation insurance quote, and in turn donated one stationery pack per quote to the cause. "We were overwhelmed by the response we received from listeners," says Anne Grobler, Outsurance marketing manager. "Waltons also came to the party and matched everything that Outsurance donated."
