Anthea Abraham is a marketing and communications professional, editor, author and voice artist with more than 20 years of experience. She graduated with a Journalism degree from Rhodes University in Grahamstown in 1994. Before entering the PR Consulting and Corporate arena, she was a News Editor at Western Cape radio station, KFM 94.5; and a freelance News Anchor for SABC TV and radio, as well as E-TV.

Anthea's skills extend to all areas of marketing and communications, including: developing communications strategy; writing reports; updating/ managing websites; managing the media; conceptualising and managing advertising; producing publications (magazines, brochures, annual/ integrated and sustainability reports); as well as managing internal communications, stakeholder engagement, corporate social investment (CSI), and events.
Anthea has numerous qualifications and was a Registered Assessor with the Education, Training and Development Practices Sector Education and Training Authority (ETDP SETA) in South Africa. Her achievements include being awarded a Steve Biko Scholarship by the Institute for the Advancement of Journalism (IAJ); being accepted onto the Executive MBA Programme and awarded a studentship by the CAS Business School in the UK; and producing a former employer's 2008 Sustainability Report, which was selected as the Best Sustainability Report within non-extractive industries by the Association for Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA). In 2010, she self-published her book with two audio CDs entitled, 'Power with English - Pronunciation and Basic Grammar'.
