Caravan Publications (Pty) Ltd, publishers of Caravan and Outdoor Life, South African 4x4 and Leisure Boating magazine, have announced the appointment of Derek Lawley as the publisher of Leisure Boating magazine with immediate effect.
"Leisure Boating is our third exciting niche market publication and we have decided to give it a shot in the arm as we head into 2005 by appointing Derek Lawley as the publisher. Derek shares the same vision for Leisure Boating that I have, and he has many years publishing experience including 15 years with our group, so I feel that he is the ideal person to take this magazine to the next level. This new appointment will be in addition to his other duties within the group," said Caravan Publications (Pty) Ltd chairman Godfrey Castle.
Leisure Boating covers all aspects of recreational boating and its editorial content includes boat tests, boating destinations, watersports, technical features, fishing, safety articles, local and international industry news and anything else relevant to having fun on the water.
