Curiocity is Johannesburg's first inner-city backpackers, located in the centre of the trendy Maboneng neighbourhood, an area famous for its many artist studios and galleries, hipster cafes and bars. Founded by young local entrepreneur Bheki Dube, who also runs the inner-city walking tour company MainStreetWalks, Curiocity is aimed at young adventurous travellers looking for a taste of modern, urban Jo'burg. There is a broad choice of accommodation including dorm rooms, single and double rooms and the Joker-In-The-Pack - a bijou self-catering unit on the roof of the building.
