The new owner will retain the name, operating it as a stand-alone publishing division and retaining all current staff members. Emile Johnsen of Christian Art Publishers has been appointed as the executive director.
"We regard this acquisition as an opportunity to expand our goal to minister widely to the spiritual needs of people and change lives through Bibles and literature consistent with biblical principles," said Chris Johnsen, MD of Christian Art Distributors.
The company will continue represent Thomas Nelson Publishers, Charisma Media, Destiny Image, FaithWords, other publishing houses and local authors that it has been dealing with and distribute the New King James Version of the Bible.
