Online radio station benefits from uncapped service

2oceansvibe Radio, the brainchild of South African blogger, Seth Rotherham, reportedly South Africa's first online radio station, is now powered in partnership with MWEB's uncapped ADSL service to ensure seamless live streaming of the station to online radio listeners.

It makes full use of the uncapped offering, from broadcasting its daily shows through live audio streaming, using Skype for guest interviews and phone-ins, to allowing listeners to download podcasts after the live shows.

"The partnership was a perfect match for our brand. Uncapped ADSL is all about allowing Internet users to have a fun, interactive and entertaining experience online, and the radio station represents exactly that," says Carolyn Holgate, GM of MWeb Connect.
