Tracker appeals to Joburg Pride attendees

Ad agency, House of Brave, and its new client Tracker, brightened up Joburg Pride with a witty activation campaign for the client's SMS Car Guard service.

"The campaign, which has been especially designed for Joburg Pride, highlights the fact that Tracker's SMS Car Guard has you covered no matter where you park your vehicle," explains Andrew Shuttleworth, MD at House of Brave.

Promoters, sporting a sandwich board with clever written copy, handed out flyers and pink umbrellas, which added to the already colourful scenery.

Bronwynn Tippett, marketing manager of Tracker South Africa describes the product as an innovative value add. "The citizens of South Africa are privileged in that they have the freedom to express who they are and we decided to use Joburg Pride as an opportunity to tap into some light-hearted messaging with the gay community."

House of Brave is a new full-service creative agency based in Johannesburg. Three industry entrepreneurs, who believed in a better way, created it in January 2012. A way in which the very best of old-world advertising could collide dynamically with progressive modernity to create something fresh and unique capturing the zeitgeist of a new advertising age.
