Retail Tech Forum returns to Cape Town, adds Banking Tech Forum

7 Dec 2012 11:38
Cape Town will host the return of the Retail Tech Forum (7-8 October 2013) and add a new, back-to-back, Banking Tech Forum from 9-10 October 2013.
With the emergence of a vibrant middle class, Africa is widely touted as the new frontier for investment and expansion. Across the continent, there is evidence of a shift in focus to improving customer-centric experience and providing excellence in customer service. This is the ideal time for retailers and banks to invest in technology to satisfy consumer expectations.

The Retail Tech and Banking Tech Forums will bring senior IT leaders across the two sectors to meet with technology vendors and solution providers for one and half days of networking and private client meetings. Says Patrick Kelly of Caltex, "Meeting so many vendors in this speed-meeting format makes you think about the way you do things. We need to work smarter not harder, and this is a good first step."

The forums provide delegates with a platform to explore new technologies, share their experiences and develop new partnerships. For more information, email .
