I'm often asked how one gets published on Bizcommunity.com as our clients and readers know that any article published on Bizcommunity - be it in news or the paid-for client press offices, gets a response, be it in the form of business enquiries, brand profile, networking opportunities, etc. As the publishing medium with the most reach in the broader media, marketing and advertising industry (55 000 subscribers a week, 185 000 unique users of the website monthly, generating 2.9 million page impressions), everyone wants to be published. It's not so easy when the news team alone receives well over 1000 emails a week with press releases, invites, interview and meeting requests. Your story really has to have a newsworthy angle appropriate for our target readership to be published. We try give feedback to as many of our loyal readers and clients and anyone who submits editorial for consideration, but we cannot unfortunately reply to all. What we give preference to is hard news, news with angles exclusive to Bizcommunity, product launches, case studies and exclusive opinion pieces. We are particularly interested in the expert opinion of those in the industry who have knowledge that adds value to our niche and high end readership, enables better business and contributes to the knowledge bank in our industry. Any and all contributions or suggestions can be sent to
editor@bizcommunity.co. Last week we also added two hot new sections to our list of subjects covered on Bizcommunity: Africa and Mobile. Both are categories that South African companies are innovating in and we are providing a platform to showcase their opinion and case studies and news in this regard. Welcome to Harry Trisos from Mobilety who launches his column for our new Mobile section this week.
Enjoy!
