Abu Issa Holding (AIH) is one of the leading business conglomerates in the Middle East, based in Doha -State of Qatar.
The announcement was made recently that AML was selected to compete in seven categories of the Bookmarks 2012. The recognition is notable given that nominations were achieved in half the categories entered, all tied in to strategic areas where the publishing house has grown in the last year.

The Bookmarks 2012 Workshops, sponsored by BBC.com, will offer international and local perspectives on the digital future in Johannesburg on 30 October at the FNB Learning Centre, Grayston Drive, Sandton and in Cape Town on 31 October at President Protea Hotel, 4 Alexander Rd, Bantry Bay. Entries are now open for the fifth Bookmarks Awards, which will take place in Cape Town on 8 November 2012. The awards look at performance versus objectives. Entries need to show how the concept and delivery meet a specific need, from brand awareness to building communities, from changing behaviour to increasing engagement. The closing date for entries is 14 September 2012.

AdVine won their first industry award at this year's prestigious Bookmark Awards 2011 in Cape Town, South Africa. AdVine entered with OMG Digital in the Mobile Display Advertising Category for the Levis Go Forth campaign. They beat off competition from HelloComputer with their Vodacom EA Games campaign.
