Nick van Rensburg has worked in the enterprise development arena for more than 20 years and has headed the Zimele team since 1997. He has been instrumental in building links with the International Finance Corporation, a member of the World Bank Group, and continues to share the Zimele model with other corporate role players, both locally and globally (including South America and the Russian states), who are focused on boosting their enterprise development initiatives in their respective sectors and countries.
His expertise includes guiding and developing policies for business linkage programmes, procurement, transformation, sustainable entrepreneurship and junior mining. He also facilitated Zimele's involvement in the compilation of the black economic empowerment (BEE) Codes of Good Practice.
Nick holds a BCom degree from the University of South Africa and a National Diploma in Cost Accounting from the Witwatersrand Technikon.
