Gavin Moffat is director of common sense, join.the.dots

Gavin is an accidental specialist in the field of communication and public relations and has been " practising" for the past 20-"odd" years. He started in a small agency in the entertainment space and later founded eCommunications with his business partner Ingrid Lotze in 1998. This led to the establishment of puruma business communications and then join.the.dots and finnatical.

He focuses on strategic marketing and communication, business consulting, social media strategy and implementation and conference speaking. He has been fondly referred to as a pot-hole spotter, titles himself as director of common sense and has enjoyed his "Coffee Conversations" that allow CEOs and MDs to get honest and forthright feedback, conversation and strategic counsel.

Gavin is a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor, a lapsed microlight pilot, trimix technical diver, Emergency First Response Instructor and tries his hand at cycling, swimming and running. He also contributes to various publications on a regular basis including the monthly MyOffice and www.gadget.co.za. He is also trying to be a nice guy.
