The National Film and Video Foundation is proud to announce that Thandie Brewer has been appointed Discipline Chair for Screenwriting at the South African School of Motion Picture Medium and Live Performance (AFDA). Thandie is an award winning writer, director, script editor and facilitator, and is a co-mentor in the NFVF Sediba Spark programme where she teaches the fundamentals of story for the screen.
Thandie was recognised by AFDA as part of the school's practice to honour leaders and innovators in the industry. In her new role as Discipline Chair for Screenwriting, she will be expected to share her expertise with the students and also contribute immensely to the school's research department.
