Quilted billboard for Cape Town International airport

Investment house Allen Gray's agency, King James, came up with the idea of a quilted billboard to demonstrate the patience investors need when it comes to their long-term investments.

"We felt that a quilt and the skilful, patient process of quilting was an effective and tangible way to depict the benefits of investing for the long term" says Tracy Hirst, Allan Gray marketing manager. The giant quilt - 3 x 12m - was stitched out of 24 different fabrics with over 900 individual squares to make up the message 'Patience is our virtue' and is located outside Cape Town International Airport.
