The Journalist is celebrating the publication of its 100th edition after launching in August 2014.
Publisher Zubeida Jaffer set up the multimedia website after becoming aware that students at the University of Free State were unaware of South Africa's pioneer journalists.
The website grew since its inception and now has the University of the Free State, the University of Johannesburg, the University of Venda, and the University of Cape Town on board to pay for mentorship services.
