Popular Mechanics achieves steady growth

The year is off with a bang for Popular Mechanics - the magazine's January issue broke through the important 30 000 circulation barrier for the first time since its launch in August 2002, which represents an increase of 16% on the last audited ABC period (January - June 2004). "We believe this growth in circulation will focus attention on the unique editorial package and audience Popular Mechanics delivers," says publisher Neil Piper, "as the brand has captivated minds around the world for 102 years, and the South African version is following that same tradition of excellence."
