2012 Pentawards open for entries
The 2012 Pentawards packaging design competition has opened for entries offering packaging designers, brand owners and packaging suppliers 44 entry categories, divided into five major sectors - Food; Beverages; Body; Other Markets and Luxury. Entries close on 11 May 2012.
An international jury of 12 professionals from packaging design and marketing and its chair will bestow the bronze, silver, gold and platinum Pentawards. The best of the show will be crowned with the prestigious and unique Diamond Pentaward. Esko, Luxepack and Sleever International will award additional prizes worth €5000 each, as official sponsors of the Pentawards.
Taschen will publish all winning designs in the second volume of 'The Package Design Book' due for release in November 2012.
The Pentawards ceremony will be presented on 27 September 2012 in Paris at the historical Opera Ballroom, Intercontinental Hotel.
