Jeremy Mansfield launches live on Hot 91.9 FM

Jeremy Mansfield will be part of the 'Hottest Breakfast Show' on newly formed Johannesburg-based station Hot 91.9 FM, which launches on 17 November 2014. He joins a slew of other radio legends on the station, some of whom he worked with when he first started broadcasting, such as Darren Scott.

"When I started my radio career with Capital 604 in the 80s, I was a junior presenter along with Darren. Our careers took us on separate paths and we were rival morning show hosts, but we have always been friends. Close to 30 years on, we get to work together again and I am delighted," says Mansfield.

Mansfield is a director and shareholder of XVR, a leading multi-media content provider that has been contracted by Hot 91.9 FM to deliver certain shows. "It is great to be back in an environment where the emphasis is on having fun and serving a community. I always drove charity as the backbone to any commercial aspect of my on-air career and that is what I will continue to do here.

"I don't have to deliver huge profits to shareholders. I can now concentrate on delivering charitable profit. That, along with fun and laughter, is good for anyone's soul," concludes Mansfield.
