As of yesterday, Monday, 12 September 2011, Frankie du Toit is now the Jacaranda 94.2 Breakfast show host. He replaces Darren Scott, who resigned last week after a huge outcry against his racist behaviour at a recent team-building event.
Du Toit will be joined by the rest of the team South Africans have come to know and love in bringing you all your favourites (including up-to-date traffic reports, reasons to be cheerful, the 7:20 Car-Toon, Jacaranda 94.2 Good Morning Angels and many more): Robbie Kruse (traffic), John Walland (sport), Nicole Flint (weather) and Dianne Broodryk (news and Good Morning Angels).

Julio Garcia will take over the 10am-1pm weekday Workzone slot.

hmmm i think jacaranda are going to loose alot of listeners with the loss of Darren. while Frankie is good he lacks the edge Darren had, i think that the "huge" outcry weren't from Jacarand listeners or market anyway. Funny how much of a issue this is but white bastard, bledy agent kill the boer so forth and so on get pushed aside without an apology at all ... Posted on 13 Sep 2011 15:40
