National Geographic Kids magazine and Kellogg's have collaborated to create a proudly South African on-pack campaign as two million NG KIDS-branded Coco Pops boxes go on sale from March to May 2006.
Kids will find interesting info on five of SA's endangered animals: the Cheetah, Bontebok, Black Rhino, Vulture and African Wild Dog, that will educate children as to how they can conserve and look after animals.
Kellogg's has also taken a stand in caring for wildlife by creating wristbands that feature one of the animals above, which kids can wear to show their support for the future of their favourite endangered animal.
These wristbands will be inserted into every March issue of NG KIDS on sale from 1 March, as well as in two million boxes of Coco Pops.
In addition to creating wristbands, Kellogg's has donated R100 000 to support the cause of Khula the Cheetah who lives at the Hoedspruit Centre for endangered animals.
