All the 2009 MPASA PICA winners

Confidence, determination and home-grown innovation, according to the 2009 PICA Awards Committee, are the fundamental elements behind the success of the South African magazine industry this year.

“Overall, the judges were very impressed with the high standard of entries across all categories particularly in what is a challenging time for magazines,” said MPASA GM Melony Boucher.

Approximately 40 years in existence, the PICA Awards have undergone various changes since its inception but its focus is still on rewarding outstanding editorial and publishing excellence in the South African magazine industry.
