Editor of O Magazine resigns

Kgomotso Matsunyane, editor of O, The Oprah Magazine South Africa, has resigned from her position and will be pursuing personal interests in the broadcast sector from March 2007.

Says Jane Raphaely, chairman of Associated Magazines and editor in chief of O Magazine SA: "Kgomotso has been the editor of O for almost three years and she has done a superb job on the magazine. We wish her well in her return to the broadcast industry."

Matsunyane will be editing O Magazine until the end of February 2007.

"Kgomotso has agreed to stay on the magazine for a four-month hand-over period, which means we will have enough time to appoint and hand over to a new editor. We have already initiated the selection process for the new editor," concludes Raphaely.
