All GIBSdirect courses have been specially tailored to suit the unique online learning environment. A fully integrated, blended learning offering comprises a combination of lecture notes, articles, case studies, practical examples and video clips of faculty, while discussion forums provide the opportunity to interact with GIBS lecturers and fellow students.
Students can choose to do the modules as standalone courses or they can opt to complete all ten modules to be awarded the GIBS Programme for Management Development (PMD). While students can work at times that suit their schedule, the work for each module needs to be completed within the two-month period over which the module runs.
Applications for GIBSdirect are currently open for two modules: Marketing and Financial Management, with applications for Leadership and People Management opening soon. Seven additional modules will also be introduced within the next year.
