Charity book sale at Gardens Shopping Centre

Opening on Friday 27 July 2012 at the Gardens Shopping Centre is the ten-day book sale in aid of Western Cape NGO, Wola Nani, a NGO that helps bring relief to the communities hardest hit by the HIV crisis.

Following the success of previous book sales, the organisation hopes to better its target and increase awareness around the event and its work. The book sale will display a large selection of quality and collectible second-hand books for readers of all ages. Various genres include children's, crime fiction, non-fiction, cookery, Africana, mind body spirit, arts, classics, thrillers, poetry and plays, gay, business, modern classics, humour and biographies.

In addition, there will also be a variety of contemporary, cult and classic DVDs and CDs to cater for movie and music-lovers. Requested books, CDs and DVDs are sourced for shoppers at reasonable prices, making the book sales special.

"We are once again at the Gardens Shopping Centre where we have hosted many successful book sales for Wola Nani," comments Well Read Books stall convenor, Mark Leach. "We hope to raise as much funds as possible for the women and children of Wola Nani in order for them to have a sustainable lifestyle." Well Read Books is a social enterprise that facilitates the fund-raising book sales for Wola Nani.
