Boitekong Mall opens soon

The R180-million Boitekong Mall by Fontis Development is in the final stages of completion. Construction began during August 2011, and will conclude this month with the modern, minimalistic and classy designed centre launching to the public on 26 April 2012.

Situated on the corner of Thlou Street and the P16-2, a main arterial road that links Rustenburg to Sun City and Thabazimbi, the centre has great accessibility in an area with good public transport infrastructure.

Apart from Boitekong Mall, no formal retail offering exists around Boitekong, as the area is characterised by mining activities and lower income housing, resulting in consumers having to travel to the Rustenburg CBD to do their shopping which is an 8km travelling distance, requiring the consumer to catch two taxis each way.

Anchored by Shoprite, the 49 stores strike a balance between retail, services and entertainment with the inclusion of strong furniture, homeware, fashion, fast-food components and major national brands.

Currently 19 000m², with 800 parking bays and parking for 18 taxis, it will in future be extended to 40 000m².
