blueFIRE heats up e-mail communications

Specialist Cape Town based software outfit bSOLVe has just introduced an innovative e-mail management system to the market. Codenamed blueFIRE, it enables business to clearly target everyday outgoing e-mail communications, personally addressing recipients and saving precious bandwidth.

Utilising technologies based on Microsoft's Exchange mail server, blueFIRE gives individuals within an organisation the ability to group their personal and companywide contacts into clearly definable categories, with multiple levels of classification.

When composing new e-mail messages, pre-designed rich templates can be selected from a library, and merging fields added to enable personal addressing. After selecting the previously defined filter criteria, a detailed recipient list is generated – which can be reviewed and updated before the message is finally sent.

Says Martin Hattingh of bSOLVe: "Because blueFIRE is integrated into Microsoft Outlook, it's really user-friendly. As a differentiating factor, the system can be accessed from anywhere on a business's network, eliminating the negatives of extra software and the accompanying installation pains."

"By leveraging the inherent, but often under-utilized, capabilities of Exchange Server, we feel that the solution offers our clients excellent return on investment, reducing unnecessary expenses and maximising their IT spend," Hattingh adds.
