NEWSWATCH: A call by former communications minister Siphiwe Nyanda that the already over-taxed South African taxpayer should fund the SABC via a 1% tax was roundly rejected by ICASA, reports Mail & Guardian, and 94.7 Highveld Stereo got a reprimand from the BCCSA for running a comedy insert that a listener didn't think funny or cool, reports Business Day.
