The Loerie Awards has secured an overseas partner for the Advertising Print Crafts Category: OpenAd.net is based in Switzerland, with the majority of its core activities in the UK, and pitches itself as 'Global Ideas Stock'.
OpenAd.net's core business is similar to that of online photo stocks like Getty Images; it offers an online sales platform for creative concepts for use in advertising, design and marketing. The ideas posted to OpenAd.net are only available to those who subscribe as clients.
Loerie Awards' Tamara Stader says: "The South African advertising market is highly developed, especially creatively. Therefore, The Loerie Awards would seem to be the perfect place to introduce OpenAd.net to South Africa, its brands and creatives, and any others who would be interested in the service."
