The advertising industry has given Margate - the new Loerie Awards venue - a huge thumbs up if ticket sales for this year's advertising, communication and design awards weekend are any indication.
According to The Loerie Awards managing director Andrew Human, VIP tickets to this year's two award ceremonies are sold out. Tickets in the gallery and grand sections are not far behind: "Response to this year's awards weekend has been fantastic. We've already had tremendous bookings for both nights, and similar numbers for travel and accommodation. All the VIP tickets are now sold out, and there's not much space left in the grand and gallery sections at the venue.
"I urge everyone who wants to be there in October to get online now at www.theloerieawards.co.za and book. That's for the events, for travel via sponsor kulula.com and for accommodation."
