Multichoice Malawi launches new DStv bouquet

Multichoice Malawi, early last week, launched its latest DStv bouquet offering, DStv Compact PLUS. The facility has over 47 news, lifestyle and entertainment channels and a total of seven sports channels namely SuperSport 7, SuperSport 9, SuperSport Blitz, SuperSport 10, TellyTrack, ESPN and ESPN Classic.
"This line-up increases the range of sport available and now includes football coverage of the English Premier League, the French League, Bundesliga, PSL, Spanish La Liga as well as rugby, golf, tennis, athletics, boxing and motorsport. Making sure there is something available for all sports lovers on the DStv Compact PLUS bouquet," said Multichoice in a statement.

90% English Premier League coverage

SuperSport 7 and SuperSport 10 are two new SuperSport channels on the PLUS option created specifically for this bouquet and while SuperSport 7 will be made up of coverage of rugby, golf, cricket, tennis, football, athletics, boxing and motorsport, SuperSport 10 will be made up of 90% English Premier League coverage and 10% French League coverage.

The subscription price for the Compact PLUS bouquet is MK7,577 per month and most subscribers have described it as fair.

"We can't ask for more; this amount and 90 % English Premier League coverage is to me a very fair deal," said Mac Arthur a technician working for one of the banks in the country.
