I am a mature and experienced campaigner in business management, marketing and sales management, client service and media planning and buying.
My Experience in business management include executive management of in manufacturing, which included, production planning and warehouse management, sales and marketing management, human resource management, hiring and firing of staff, office administration. I also have extensive experience in construction management and project management. Further, I have been involved in consultations with various organisations in business planning.
I am a humble, hardworking, assertive and focused mature African man. I am currently running my own small media planning and buying business from my home office.
I am a qualified Interior Designer by profession and have studied law with the University of the North(limpopo) and Western Cape(UWC). I Have worked in a number of business sectors, which has given me enlightenment regarding what the business sector is like and has shaped my outlook on being a consumer, a busness owner, an employer, an employer and a good corporate citizen.
My first real job was in banking, as a credit controller, within which I grew within the credit control field to assistant head of department and also worked as an internal auditor for the card credit division at Standard Bank.
On leaving the banking sector I started my first business, a building construction company called Ghetto Development Project, which built a number of residential properties, did a lot of home improvements, took subcontracting jobs in the plumbing for the Stretford Cummunity Health Centre and Hammanskraal RDP housing Projects amongs other projects.
Returned a number of times due to being head hunted for contract work, firstly with AIG South Africa's Health and Accident Marketing Department as a Business to Business Consultant, later with Stonehouse Graphics as an Account Manager, marketing the company to Advertising Agencies and repositioning it in the advertising market as a leader in large format digital printing. Was Head hunted by Managing Director and owner of Busi Ntuli Communications to head their Sales and Marketing Team as well as oversee the media planning and buying. My main responsibility was to ensre that client SLA are met, client briefs are adequately interpreted and implemented, and mainly client retention and development through effective follow up on their queries and dissatisfaction.Left to pursue freelance and consultant projects, which included research, planning and implementation of a new business venture for Crystal Communications, as well as act as a consultant for the Media planning and buying part of the business, business development and tender bidding processes. Took on a General Manager: Media Planning and Buying role for Outgrow, this included setting up, implementing and developing new busines and marketing for their Media Planning and Buying Division and the setting up and implemntation of their Integrated Facilitias Management and construction divisions. Consulted for Segakweng Associates, a Strategy company, for the media planning and buying on the Department Of Water Affairs' Women in Water Awards Campaign.
Curently just finished with planning and project management of fundraising events, golf day and carwash, for a local based charity organization as part of my social upliftment program.
I have a strong work ethic, work well in a team, can handle pressure and have demonstrated leadership qualities.
