WORK ETHIC AND SKILLS
I consider myself a hard worker and always determined to meet my goals. No challenge is too big and there is always a way to solve a problem. I am bilingual and can speak fluent Afrikaans and English, which has helped me in the work environment. I am a gregarious people's person and have very good communication skills. I am approachable and kind and treat people with respect. If there is a customer/client with a problem or complaint I can remain calm and ensure to find and apply the best suited solution.
I am completely computer literate. I have completed a computer course at Varsity College and I frequently use all the office programs (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
I have both creative and marketing skills, which is why I have chosen Advertising as my desired career path.

MUSIC
I am extremely passionate about music and enjoy DJing in my spare time. As a teenager in high school, I created mix CD's to sell to my friends. This is how my love of musical production and DJing began. I then moved to Cape Town to pursue my love of music and started studying Sound Engineering. During August of 2010, my final year's project was stolen with my laptop, including my back-up copy on my hard drive. As I could not hand in the project I had been working on since January, I did not pass the year, as it counted for a large percentage of our final marks. However, this did not dampen my spirits and I am still interest in completing the course. I enjoy all genres of music, particularly electronic, and hope to someday produce my own music professionally.

PHOTOGRAPHY
I also enjoy photography and have a wide-ranging portfolio of work. I enjoy sport and action photography, as well as still life and portraiture.

SPORT
I am an outdoors person and am involved in many spheres of sport. I am currently sponsored for longboarding and downhill skateboarding by Peg. I also enjoy wake boarding when I am down the South Coast in Port Edward, my hometown, and play friendly soccer once a week in Durban. I bodyboard as often as I can and enjoy a game of golf, too.
