Growing up in a small village in the Western Cape my dream was always to work in the big bad city. One week after finishing school I left my home town; McGregor and moved to Cape Town on a wing and a prayer. I found a job on my second day in Cape Town and waitressed throughout my December holidays.

I always wanted to be in events and went for numerous interviews; but with no qualifications and no experience work was hard to find. I worked as a waitress and hostess at several places in Cape Town to pay the bills and continued my search until one day someone gave me chance.

I have been doing events full time for the last three years.
I have been free-lancing for the last year and a half, which I think has added to my experience; working with a variety of people, companies and brands as well as doing some events all on my own and still managing to provide an excellent service and client satisfaction all round.
I have recently moved to Johannesburg to expand my network and experience and in the last six months I have had the honour of working in Durban, Cape Town and Johannesburg.

I am punctual, friendly, hard-working, professional at all times and set very high standards for myself.
