Show profile Hide profileI have worked on most major newspapers and magazines in South Africa from The Sunday Times to The Financial Mail and have held senior management positions at most large media houses. I have written and/or edited publications such as The Generation Next annual tabloid in the Sunday Times (2019) documents such as the Gauteng Provincial Government and Business Unity South Africa's 2055 scenarios. In the UK, I was a contract technical author and as a journalist I wrote a weekly column for The Times and for the Financial Times on IT issues. For clients in Dubai, I edited the Qatar National Research Fund's brochure and produced white papers on technology developments for the Dubai World Trade Centre.
In South Africa, I am currently the Surveys Editor for Tiso Blackstar titles and have held the positions of managing editor of Business Report (a supplement with four editions daily for major newspapers around the country) and Production Editor of The New Age daily newspaper. I have worked on a freelance basis as a sub-editor for the Independent Production hub for all the newspapers of the Independent Group as well as for the Opus Madiba book project. Web projects I managed include the South African Revenue Service, The Department of Energy and Minerals, Ekurhuleni, Buffalo City (East London), Mogale City and the City of Cape Town (monthly newspaper).
