Devising and maintaining office systems;
Using content management systems to maintain and update websites and internal databases;
Attending meetings, taking minutes and keeping notes;
Liaising with staff in other departments and with external contacts;
Ordering and maintaining stationery and equipment;
Sorting and distributing incoming post and organising and sending outgoing post;
Organising and storing paperwork, documents and computer-based information;
Photocopying and printing various documents, sometimes on behalf of other colleagues.
Music Compiler:
Ensure compliance to SA music quota
Ensure good relationships are maintained with Record Companies on behalf of the station
Participate in weekly Playlist Meetings
Ensure compliance and adherence to all policies and procedures
Assist in scheduling music in line with the station's programming strategy
Pro-actively source local music and give regular feedback and recommendations to the Music Compiler
Arrange and document all on-air interviews and report back on play-out
Carry out specific projects given by Programme Manager
Schedule all daily on-air features and ensure alignment to rotation and history rules
Code all new audio so tracks are easily identified
Update all relevant charts on the website so listeners are well informed
Document all incoming Stand in's and distribute information accordingly, with the approval of the Programme Manager
