Sudan cut off from internet
Sudan is currently experiencing a complete internet blackout, writes Lorenzo Franceschi-Bicchierai on Mashable. The country seems to have cut itself off from the internet yesterday, 25 September.

Mashable: Sudan Suffers Complete Internet Blackout... The internet blackout is reportedly due to riots in the capital city of Khartoum after oil subsidies were lifted, which resulted in higher fuel costs.
Franceschi-Bicchierai writes that internet monitoring and research firm, Renesys and internet traffic monitoring firm, BGPMon, have both confirmed the internet blackout, which is supposedly caused by the country's government.
