Nigeria hosts international trade fairs
Satish Khanna, GM, Al Fajer Information and Services, said: "The plastics and autoparts industries have rapidly developed in Africa in general and Nigeria in particular. Al Fajer is delighted to organise these two international trade shows that serve as a platform to bring together market leaders from all over the world under one roof."
Focus of exhibitions
The Autoparts Nigeria 2010 exhibition will be focusing on parts and systems, repairs and maintenance, accessories and tuning, services, garage equipments, car wash and related issues; while the Plast Pack Nigeria 2010 exhibition will showcase raw materials and chemicals, plastic packaging machinery and equipment and services, machines and equipment for processing recycling, plastics extrusion and thermoforming.
"Africa nowadays counts only on its resources and explorations have revealed huge amounts of raw materials in different fields. That is why Nigeria today is exporting extra materials thus laying the foundation for a strong economy within the next few years," said Khanna.
Khanna said Al Fajer was the first among all the companies in the GCC countries to organise such exhibitions, demonstrating a far-sighted strategy based on capitalising the potential of emerging economies.
