Sahara Computers has announced the event as one that will provide visitors with a comprehensive overview of the level of technology now available, and variety of solutions that characterize the booming digital lifestyle space.

This will include the company's products, incorporating multimedia solutions, desktop and mobile products, removable storage, display systems and input devices, as well as technology sourced from the company's line of international vendor partners.

The event will play host to Foxconn, Intel, Microsoft and Samsung, and offer these top tier technology leaders an opportunity to display their latest technologies and demonstrate their leadership in various quadrants that make up the global ICT market.

These areas cover development in motherboard, processor, printer, personal storage and digital lifestyle solutions.

Foxconn is a global manufacturer of IT motherboards, graphic cards, optical storage devices, workstations and server infrastructure. The company continues to leverage off its partnership with Sahara to expand its reach within the South African market.

“There are a number of key issues that our dealers and resellers have to understand and put in perspective for customers, including the capacity of digital lifestyle devices and the impact of personal storage and changing requirements within the notebook market,” explains Gary Naidoo, deputy MD at Sahara Computers.

The company has reinforced its go-to-market strategy by positioning notebooks as its flagship product offering, strengthening its status as having the number one South African notebook brand.

Innovation within the competitive processor space and implications for the market in general will also be covered at the show.

Naidoo confirmed that there will be no shortage in lifestyle audio-visual devices on display and he urged anyone interested in the field to visit the show.
