Gift cards go larger in 2010

The TFG (The Foschini Group) Gift Cards have been designed to not only offer a wealth of shopping power but also aesthetic appeal as well. These little works of art offer a variety of personalized shopping experiences, while simultaneously containing a strong design tale which sets them apart from their counterparts.

In 2009, TFG launched their Gift Card range in 2009, introducing eight beautifully designed cards carry striking elements of South African street culture, languages and graphics. Incorporating themes into each individual card, there is one that'll entice target markets across all demographics. From the Festive Card for celebratory occasions to the Devotion Card for a more romantic gesture, the designs are also tailored to unique events.

TFG has also launched its Corporate Sales Program in October 2010, offering large businesses a more affordable and convenient gifting system.

Available in any rand value from R5 to R10 000, volume discounts are offered to corporate orders of R20 000 plus.

"With the Gift Cards replacing the traditional paper vouchers previously sold in the group's stores, TFG has seen a 60% increase in turnover generated since the launch in November last year," says Cindy Matungulu, TFG campaign and communications manager.

With no applied hidden fees, the card can be redeemed and purchased at 14 of the retail brands including @home, @home livingspace, American Swiss, donna-claire, Duesouth, exact!, fashion express, Foschini, Luella, Markham, Matrix, sportscene, Sterns and Totalsports.
