The distiller, the Scotch whisky and premium gin business of Pernod Ricard, has won this award five times in the past eight years, testament to its consistency and excellence in spirit production.

This top award was the result of its unrivalled scoop of trophy and medal wins including:

  • Greenall's Best Gin Trophy - Beefeater 24
  • Best Single Malt Scotch Whisky under 15 Years - Strathisla 12 Year Old
  • Gold Best in Class - Royal Salute Hundred Cask Selection No 6*, Scapa 16 Year Old*, Aberlour 18 Year Old*, The Glenlivet 21 Year Old, The Glenlivet 25 Year Old*, Beefeater 24 Year Old and Beefeater 47%*
  • Gold medals - Ballantine's Limited* and The Glenlivet 12 Year Old

“This unequalled position, as well as the wide array of ‘Gold Best in Class' Awards, as well as gold medals, highlights the expertise of our master distillers and blenders. The independent endorsement of the IWSC establishes Chivas Brothers as the convincing authority on Scotch whisky and gin. We are honoured to represent a stable with such iconic and timeless brands of supreme quality,” comments David de Mardt, MD of Pernod Ricard South Africa, marketer and distributer of the winning brands.
