Bizcommunity.com was situated in the Bandwidth Barn, a hub for IT innovators in Cape Town, since inception six years ago. It is testimony to the strong growth in the company that we needed to move to bigger premises which have allowed us to brand the offices in our trademark red, as well as offering naming rights on the building. We wish our Cape Town team great success in new building! It's all about media this week with the Vodacom Journalist Awards announced last night in a spectacular production at Vodaworld; and the controversial Magazine Publishers Association of SA PICA awards for magazine and journalism excellence preceded by a two-day magazine publishing conference Tuesday and Wednesday. The Media24 circulation crisis is expected to feature strongly in discussions. The awards are of course lighter with the suspension and withdrawal of the 12 Media24 titles affected.
