Despite the rise of the iPod, radio must be one of the most personal media ever to have been invented. The changing DJ/presenter line-ups and music play-lists on our top music radio stations are certainly one of the longest running debates ever on Bizcommunity.com - starting last year with 5FMs new DJ line-up; to the constant change at Jacaranda; the type of music played by Highveld, YFM and Metro; and Good Hope FMs latest commercial with scantily clad shipmates! The 'outlaw status' of some of the campus radio stations like Tuks have also been in the news as they find favour with listeners who feel they no longer belong in the commercial stations' footprint. This past week has seen daily news stories with 702 Talk Radio's 25th anniversary, to a new morning show host at Jacaranda to take on the RAW team at rival Highveld.
