Despite that fact that we didn't achieve Oscar glory this year, who could not but feel a sense of pride as we heard "'Yesterday' - from South Africa" announced up there with the rest of the foreign films at the annual Academy Awards on Sunday/Monday. Well done to the South African film industry! It was rather an action packed week last week, with wall-to-wall events and functions, such as the release of the rather dismal ABCs and the delicious Design Indaba. The week also included Bizcommunity.com's opening of satellite offices in Johannesburg!
