Synergy's fire starter And the international act announcements keep on pouring in. Next act to head SA's way is British punk rock/dance act The Prodigy who will be headlining Synergy Live in Cape Town and Joburg this November. In other music news Johann Smith is appreciative of Ard Matthew's brave solo album, First Offerings, I report back on act three of the #5GumExperience, and a very good looking line-up for Up the Creek 2013 is announced. Petrol-head Henri Geyser takes a spin in the Chevrolet's new attractive and tough Trailblazer, and is impressed with Volvo's exciting V40. In travel news, Rod Baker soaks up some sun in Mauritius at the newly refurbished and reopened Ambre, while Brian Berckman pays a visit to South Africa's Best Luxury Country Hotel, The Robertson Small Hotel, and Ilse van den Berg goes on a world wind tour of Cape Town with City Sightseeing Sidecar Adventures. Film buff Daniel Derksen reviews inspiring films, The Odd Life Of Timothy Green, and Cloud Atlas, while Eugene Yiga reports on the announcement of the 2012 theme for MCQP.
