Junior QC Test Technician - Electronic Testing
Process Automation - Johannesburg
Duties:
1. Testing and checking all incoming goods in the test department.
2. Setting up of scintillators for temperature cycling.
3. Testing scintillators before shipment.
4. Testing of all electronic boards manufactured.
5. IPD and ISD detector logging soaking and testing.
6. Final test on Unipro systems.
7. Setting up and testing of all communication boards.
8. Analyzing swab samples using the gamma spectrometer.
9. Any other duties given by management provided that the duties are reasonable.
10. Training of Test technicians.
11. Compilation of Quality dossiers.
12. Delegation of tasks to test technicians.
13. Reporting of non-conforming situations to the QC Officer (Testing), and or to the QC Manager.
14. Ensuring all test reports are correctly filed away and available for review if and when required.
15. Accurate recording of all electronic testing.
16. Compliance to instructions and willingness to accept instructions.
17. Attendance/Timekeeping/
18. Meeting targets with regard to Time/Quality/Delivery, and Cost.
19. Compliance to company rules and regulations.
20. Understanding of circuit drawings and test specifications
21. Correct usage of inspection /measuring and test instruments.
22. Ensuring work areas he/she is responsible for is kept neat and tidy.
23. Contribution and participation in WPC Program.
24. Ensuring all inspection, measuring & test equipment is in good condition and within it's stated calibration period

Complete Assembled Products, Involved Troubleshooting and Rectification of defective PCBs/Modules, Training the staff regarding products and to keep them updated of the technological development in these areas, Checking Quality Control, Receiving & dispatching goods, Invoicing & data Capturing, Preparing audio & video products for S.A.B.S standard testing
